Yes and during the Spanish Inquisition we burned people for being witches. Let’s sort that out too, while we’re at it.

The Equality issue was in the 1960’s. The question is - is she doing it today. No. Get over yourself and your righteous indignation.

Surely we cannot judge people by todays standards for what happened decades ago and was accepted practice. Rightly or wrongly.

Times change. If what you are suggesting is true … then every white person in the world owes some person of colour , reparations.

And before them, the Romans. And before them the Egyptians, and before them ….

Have you heard of the ‘tall poppy syndrome’ - just because the Royals are visible, and stand higher and more noticeable than you or I, does not mean we should cut them down.

But mostly, a human died, she was a mother and a grandmother .., let’s get her in the ground first.

Let’s respect what she did do. Not fight over what she got wrong.

And once she’s been respectfully dealt with, carry on.

But humanity is not perfect. Not one nation can lay claim to perfection. And not one human being. This current notion of seeking human perfection is an abomination … it’s like the holy grail … it does not exist.

The Australians with its indigenous
The Americans with just about everybody
The Russians now, and for centuries.
The South Africans and Apartheid
Israel and Palestine.
Croatia
Macedonia and Greece

The list is endless. And I doubt it will ever change.

But the only buildings in India and South Africa worth anything, are from colonial times. With very few exceptions (Taj Mahal) etc.

What happened last century and the one before that was what empires did. Doesn’t make it right. But it was Woke back then to grab colonies. It’s the equivalent of modern veganism … 😂

But let’s talk about Prince Charles’ (as he was then) outspoken lone voice on climate change in the 60’s and 70’s …

He was slaughtered for his beliefs (until it became mainstream popular), by both the people AND the Govt.

Even now, he has had to swear an oath as King that says he’ll be a “good boy” as king as a CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCH.

And yes, I’m one of those. Who file past giving thanks.

I actually have spent a few years working in the community … it’s SHIT thankless work. She did it for 70 years.

What have you done? Coached a local sports team; or been on the school pta; neighbourhood watch perhaps; fed the aged; visited old lonely people at home to give them an hour of company. Or took in a starving smelly homeless person for your Sunday roast? All easy to do.

What did you do? Please enlighten me.
I’ve done that. I’ve had homeless people scream at me for giving them a brand new blue blanket when they want pink. Which I don’t have.

And for not cutting the crusts off the free bread with soup I’m delivering to Street people.

Her service is incredible. Infuckingcredible!

And if you’d done just ONE day of it, you’d know that.

Hypocritical Keyboard warriors with no idea, and no respect.

Go do one year of what she’s done … and then come talk to me. Not 7 decades!

Why is nobody reminding us of what Charles was fighting for with climate change. Nobody knows exactly how hard he’s fought politicians on issues. Or the Late Queen for that matter. Because they do it quietly, diplomatically. Not like these article writers who do it for claps, and a few pennies.

Please. Do me a favour.
