Whilst I think it’s great to reward top writers. I also think a reward should go to those that drive non-members towards reading medium articles. So non Medium readers. At some stage – all of us were non-Medium … I became a member because of reading some great pieces! Let’s reward for that as well.
It also favours those who have been the longest on Medium and those with the most followers. Which could and should be the best writers or stories, but not always.
