My son sends me his daily electronic diary on occasion to resolve a timing issue.

I am often amused that he can go 2 days on the trot with back to back meetings.

He thinks he is busy. I think he’s non-productive and have told him so.

It is simply impossible to process that much input into something that adds to any benefit whatsoever. Most importantly, a revenue stream.

I took 3 meetings a day. My entire life. As a MAXIMUM. And no meeting was longer than an hour. For any reason.

My goal is to have a meaningful meeting only. And then to process that meeting content and consider it, while it was still fresh. Before piling on new information to dull the old, newly acquired information.

It cost me corporately at first. I was deemed lazy. Until I became someone who always delivers.

It was at this point I left corporate, never to return.

This is such a true piece of writing. Thoroughly enjoyable.
