Isn’t it quite simple. Stories are being curated - as before. So no change.

Stories are being CffD - as before, but no individual notification. So slight change.

And they are going to update us with changes to distribution / CffD generally.

The only issue is they do it and then tell us, rather than the other way around. HOWEVER, with hundreds of thousands of members / readers / content providers - what does telling us help. There is no way 10 people are going to be fully in agreement, never mind 100 000.

No social media platform does that. It just makes changes. This is normal.

I’m personally a bit disappointed CffD is gone, but I’ll wait to find out the alternative before complaining. There is no way everybody is going to get exactly what they want.
