In my opinion the issue is that news has become opinion based. Through 24/7 coverage we have to fill time with opinion.

Therefore language changes. News used to only be fact. Now it’s more, it’s opinion.

The fault lies with how journalists and journalism function now. There is not enough news in a day to fill the airwaves 24/7.

So we have filler. And the filler has to be more and more sensational to hold the viewer captive.

The answer is reduced news times. The average consumer for news is too lazy to go in search of it. It should be limited to a few times a day, as before.

The alternative hikes the fear factor, through repetition
