I will definitely be reading some of her stuff. I am fascinated by the American Southern POC culture and especially her type of stuff. New Orleans, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama are of special interest. Not many write about them anymore - I guess it's not politically correct but the stories are exceptional.
