Had you gone to a Grammar school, or met John Major, you’d know it’s not ‘polishing’ … it’s ‘rubbing’

You polish turds and you rub anything in the groin area. Or a ball of any sort.

Except a golf ball - you wipe a golf ball. However you’d ‘fluff’ a shuttlecock 🏸 which seems bizarre given it has the word ‘cock’ in it.

Now go shuttle a customer and earn your crust.

PS - I loved the story … and I’d love a few more taxi related pieces. It must be a fascinating job … I truly am envious.
