I am not sure money is the grease of success … often it’s perseverance, energy and belief.
My folks had nothing. I owned my first restaurant at 22. And simultaneously read law and did my 2 year compulsory national service in SA and played first class cricket.
Not bragging, but I’m not the only one I know whose done this.
Thousands of Indians in apartheid SA did it too. With huge odds stacked against them. Much greater than mine.
the Sikh community in Natal, are considered one of the wealthiest communities in Africa. They started as indentured sugar cane workers.
