Great article. I am sorry for the people in the comments dealing with situations, it must be so tough. In Italy the catholic sisters are a godsend and deal with situations like this, there are problems for sure, but the hospitals with sisters in them in Italy are far and away the best-managed facilities.

I also think India deals with siutations like this quite well, where the extended family support. Obviously, there is the other side to India as well.

Hopefully one day our focus will not be on war and military and more on the preservation of life and the planet. We can hope.
