Forgiveness — A Vital Cog in a Joyful Life.
In response to Glen who took the trouble to join Medium and follow me so that he could send this note to me :
Cameron Herrin will serve 20.4 years or 85% of his sentence as required by Florida law. All these people on here making excuses for him killing a 24 year old woman and a 1 year old child (whom he robbed of about 88 years). I bet you wouldn’t have this energy if it was your child he killed.
Which was in response to the story below, which I published :-
I just want to firstly say – “thank you for taking the trouble and time to write to me. This piece has taken on a life of its own and I am (even) in communication with the Office of the Governor of Florida.”
Secondly – I think you ask a brilliant question. Probably the only good thing to come out of the whole terrible scenario, is the opportunity for us all to examine our conscience and personal values.
