Famine, both literal and philosophical, is a correction.

Mammon is a man made form of gluttony.

Culturally the world applauds mammon and abhors correction. Like an uncorrected child, our world is out of control. No discipline. The result is a few lucky escapes that embolden us.

So we take bigger risks. 2008 was such a time. We won’t be so lucky next time.

It’s not an - “if a correction comes”, it’s “when”. We sang the praises of a ‘global economy’ … because it fed our Mammon, made extreme wealth attainable.

Made us immune. Made us think we are invincible. Made greed triumph over intelligence.

Reduced our naysayers to ridicule and retribution.

We forget that ‘global economics’ also allows for ‘global correction’ … no country will be immune. It will be our WW3.

I would rather a bullet than an economic world wide “correction”. In human terms, a big correction is a death sentence - at the very least, a life sentence … inescapable.

At least you can hunker down and hide from a bullet.

You cannot hide from a world economic correction. It’s like oxygen. It will choke the life out of 1st World citizens.

The 1st world owns mammon. Feeds mammon.

The refugees and poor of this world will survive. They’ve been doing it for decades. Living on scraps.

That’s my prophetic vision. It scares me shitless.
