A good point. And while I’m happy to disagree, to some degree, I take your view onboard.

Our difference though, may just be semantics. At heart I think we are on the same page.

I think we confuse social injustice with ‘being woke’.

Identifying social injustice is necessary. And ‘woke’ began as a clarion call to identify its ugliness. But today I feel it’s been hijacked and become part of a wider cancel culture mentality.

I can’t abide with cancel culture. I just cannot. We have to allow people we don’t agree with to have a voice and an opinion.

But your point is nevertheless, in it’s pure form, correct.

Thank you for commenting and pointing this out. We should never be complacent or complicit concerning social injustice.
